His near decade old Core2Quad Q9500 could run Battlefield 1 just fine with a decent GPU. Yeh, a few months ago, I was helping someone out with games he could run on an old computer. Granted, that's probably single player/benchmarks, but I doubt multiplayer could be so much worse as to cut the fps in half since single player doesn't need a powerful cpu. I played BF4 just fine on my i5 Ivy Bridge and my i7 2600k just fine and the later didn't even get 50% CPU usage in online BF4 with maxed out servers of 60 something people. Marketing?Yeh, a few months ago, I was helping someone out with games he could run on an old computer. GoldenXBF1 ran at 40fps on an A4-4000 (in DX12), why are CPU requirements so bonkers? A Celeron can play it. The requirements are not so crazy IMOYou sure it wasn't your GPU? My rig is the same as yours except that my processor is an i7 3770.
That being said, what OS are you running? If on Win10 are you using DX11 or12, and did you install the creator's update? Recently I limited my FPS to 61 in my user.cfg and it really evened out the CPU spikes and sporadic FPS drops so that may benefit your game performance. You can see how your CPU rates against the minimum required CPU here: You also might want to drop your graphics settings, your GPU may be able to handle it but your CPU being just below the minimum probably can't keep up with higher graphics settings.
Sorry for bad the first issue is that your CPU is below the minimum required to Play BF1, and BF1 is a processor intensive game. I have tried lowering the graphical settings but they don't seem to help that much, what am I supposed to do ?
Before the update I've had times that my fps dipped but they were so occasional, now it's every single game and my game has came to a state that it's literally unplayable. My problem is after the latest UI update, I experience heavy fps drops and therefore stutters. First of all, my computer specs are i5 6500, Gtx 1060 6gb, 16 gb 2133 mhz ram and the game is installed on a ssd.
